New Facebook and Twitter Graphics

Changes are being made to the ERSWS branding over the next few months, which includes new Facebook and Twitter graphics. The idea behind these new designs is to reflect more of what ERSW.

Facebook Timeline Cover

The new black and blue Facebook Timeline Cover replaces the original Blueprint Timeline Cover. It comes with a matching profile photo.

Free font to help dyslexics

Dyslexics can struggle to read a lot of fonts, there have been a few attempts at creating the perfect font to help dyslexics which have led nowhere, been embroiled in legal arguments over the fonts use or have an expensive price tag.

I have a few friends who suffer with dyslexia and some more friends who work with dyslexics, so it is a topic I am more than aware of.

One of the best sources of fonts on the internet today is www.dafont.com and back in November last year added a free font to help dyslexics (the author does ask for donations). You can find this font at http://www.dafont.com/open-dyslexic.font

Adobe charging extra for wrong browser

Creative Bloq has a great article on their site about how Adobe charging people extra to use CC based on the browser

This makes us wondwer whether other companies are using similar methods, if you hear or see of this happening please let us know. We can understand developers charging extra for sites that want to use legacy browsers. Modern design methods should mean that a website shouldn’t be reliant on a particular browser.
